At this time, Art=Visual is offering both CS4 and CS5 courses in Premiere Pro. When reading the Course Outline (scroll downward to see it), if a subject says New to CS5, this is taught in the CS5 version of the course. If a subject says Enhanced for CS5, this means that the basic function is in both the CS4 and CS5 versions, but that CS5 has added some enhancements. These enhancements would be covered in the CS5 course only.
Note: Maximum class size at our Atlanta classroom is two students. Three or more students must train on-site at their place of business. For more information, please read about our class sizes.
Note on Fees: Multiple student discounts are for multiple students from one organization.
Class Times
Classes can be held at any time per the customer's schedule, but unless arranged otherwise, classes run from 9 AM to 5 PM each day, with an hour for lunch. This equates to eight total hours of training per day, which is one to two hours more than any other software training facility or private instructor.
Description
Art=Visual's 3-Day Premiere Pro Level 1 Ultimate course is designed for those who want to learn more than just "the basics" of Premiere Pro. This 3-Day course is for those who are completely new to the software, have limited knowledge of the software, or are Final Cut, Avid, etc. users who are converting to Premiere Pro. The course was designed by Steve Markos and is based on his experience as a Video Editor. It covers what Steve feels are the ESSENTIALS needed to use Premiere Pro on a competent level and to create a compelling, professional-looking video.
After completing this course a student will be able to:
• Create a new Premiere Pro project
• Capture video from both device-controlled and non device-controlled sources
• Set In- and Out-points on video clips
• Use the editing tools
• Work with Transitions
• Control audio levels
• Manipulate transparency

Class materials
Steve uses his own videos and written materials for the class, but also provides student's with their own copy of Adobe's Premiere Pro CS4/CS5 Classroom In A Book to use as a reference manual.
Art=Visual classes have plenty of hands-on practices that allow students to create real world art and compositions.
