Classes can be held at any time per the customer's schedule, but unless arranged otherwise, classes run from 9 AM to 6 PM each day, with an hour for lunch. This equates to eight total hours of training per day, which is one to two hours more than any other software training facility or private instructor.
Description
Our Premiere Pro CS4 Level 1 course is designed for those who are completely new to the software, have limited knowledge of the software, or are Final Cut, Avid, etc. users who are converting to Premiere Pro. The course was designed by Steve Markos and is based on his experience as a Video Editor. It covers what Steve feels are the ESSENTIALS needed to use Premiere on a competent level and to edit a compelling video production.
We are often asked why our Level 1 class is a 3-day class while many training centers offers a 2-day class. If you look at the course length offered by training centers that specialize in video training, they all offer 3-day classes. The essentials of Premiere Pro simply cannot be taught in two days. Any 2-day Premiere Pro course is shortchanging students.
After completing this course a student will be able to:
• Create a new Premiere Pro project
• Capture video from both device-controlled and non device-controlled sources
• Set In- and Out-points on video clips
• Use the editing tools
• Work with Transitions
• Control audio levels
• Manipulate transparency
• Create titles
• Create motion animations
• Output to tape, DVD, or web based applications (Windows Media Player, etc.)
Class materials
Steve uses his own videos and written materials for the class, but also provides student's with their own copy of Adobe's Premiere Pro CS4 Classroom In A Book to use as a reference manual.
Art=Visual classes have plenty of hands-on practices that allow students to create real world art and compositions.
