Description
Our What's New in Photoshop CS5 course is a half day course that covers all the new features in CS5 that are pertinent to Web/Graphic Designers and Photographers. The course does not cover new 3D Modeling features. People taking this course should be an intermediate to advanced user of Photoshop CS4. Many new features in CS5 are enhancements to existing tools and commands and the basics of these tools and commands will not be discussed in this course.

• Opening and browsing files with Mini Bridge
• Choosing colors with the HUD color selector
• Rule of Thirds cropping guides
• Create layer by dragging/dropping from Windows/Mac OS
• 3D Repoussé
• Content Aware Fill
• Emulate traditional painting with new Painting and Mixing Brushes
• Puppet Warp
• Enhanced features to existing CS4 tools and commands will also
be covered:
• Zooming

• Ruler Tool (straightening an image)
• Layer Styles
(create defaults)
• Paste-in-Place
(new way to do this)
• Spot Healing Brush (Content Aware Fill)
