At this time, Art=Visual is offering both CS4 and CS5 courses in Photoshop. When reading the Course Outline (scroll downward to see it), if a subject says New to CS5, this is taught in the CS5 version of the course.  If a subject says Enhanced for CS5, this means that the basic function is in both the CS4 and CS5 versions, but that CS5 has added some enhancements.  These enhancements would be covered in the CS5 course only.

Note: Maximum class size at our Atlanta classroom is two students. Three or more students must train on-site at their place of business. For more information, please read about our class sizes.

Classes can be held at any time per the customer's schedule, but unless arranged otherwise, classes run from 9 AM to 5 PM each day, with an hour for lunch.

Description
Art=Visual's Photoshop 2-Day Basics course offers instruction on basic photo retouching. Unlike our 3-Day Photoshop Ultimate courses that are specific to either the Print/Web Graphics industry or to the Photography industry, our 2-Day course covers only the essential retouching topics and is not topic-specific to any one work environment.  It was created for those with only two days available for training.  The course is designed for those who are completely new to the software or who have limited knowledge of the software.  If time allows, definitely consider the 3-Day Ultimate courses.

After completing this course a student will be able to:

• Crop and straighten images
• Adjust exposure and correct for color casts
• Touch-up photographs of people and products
• Understand how to analyze resolution and prepare photos for print and web
• Create multi-layered compositions
• Create collages from selected elements of different images

Class materials
Steve uses his own photographs and written materials for the class, but also provides student's with their own copy of Deke McClelland's Photoshop CS4/CS5 One-On-One book to use as a reference manual.

Art=Visual classes have plenty of hands-on practices that allow students to create real world art and compositions.
