Custom Training
Length
To Be Determined
Class Times
Classes can be held at any time per the customer's schedule, but unless arranged otherwise, classes run from 9 AM to 6 PM each day, with an hour for lunch.
Description
There are two categories of Custom Training:
Category 1 | Students who have used a particular software may be familiar with some topics in both the entry and advanced level courses, and thus money spent on either course will be a duplicate of knowledge. To avoid this problem, students can pick and choose topics they want to learn from either course. Once this is done, submit the list to Art=Visual and we will be able to give a good estimate of the number of days required to cover the topics.
Fees
1 Student $400/Day
2 Students $600/Day
3 Students $800/Day

Category 2 | Students may have a particular problem that they want help solving, or they may want specific instruction on how to complete their project. This type of custom training requires that the project materials in question be sent to Art=Visual in advance, and instructor Steve Markos will have to spend one or more days designing the custom class and/or diagnosing the problem to determine the proper way to teach his students the way to tackle the issue. Oftentimes this type of training is required by advanced users of a software product who need help solving a particular problem. People who have never used the software, but who are now responsible for the company newsletter, for example, probably need to take a standard introductory course, supplemented with advanced topics particular to their project.
Fees
Because this type of custom training requires extra days to develop the course, fees will be higher than Category 1 training. Also, since each case is different, a custom quote must be given to the customer. Please call Steve to discuss your company's needs and receive a no-obligation quote.
Class materials
Regardless of the category of training, students will receive the text book that is provided for the particular standard course to use as a reference manual, plus any files and printed materials normally provided.
